Teacher of the Month (September): Shawna Bennett (5th Grade Teacher)
Reason Nominated: She goes above and beyond to build rapport for her students. She built rapport with one a student that was in desperate need of structure. She is kind and approachable. It was touch quarter with lots of changes and unexpected changes and she took it with so much grace. She is responsible and respectful.
Staff of the Month (September): Samantha Neilson (Principal’s Secretary)
Reason Nominated: Samantha is the person here at Legacy that we never knew we needed, and now that we have her, I don’t know what we ever did without her! She is so helpful, organized, positive… just all around amazing! When I see her in passing, she makes me smile just by being her. She will probably be my staff of the month vote forever. She is just that awesome!
