GRADING AND REPORT CARDS

LTS report cards are based on six (6), six (6) week grading periods. This allows for consistent communication every three weeks between teachers and parents concerning grades and behavior. Parents may request to meet with their child’s teacher at any time throughout the year to discuss their child’s performance.

Parents can access their student’s grades and progress through Grade Book online. Parents will receive a password and login specific to their child from the teacher.

Grading Scale

LTS utilizes the following grading scale:

A.................... 90-100

B.................... 80-90

C.................... 70-80

D.................... 60-70

F..................... 0-60

Progress Reports

Parents shall be contacted three (3) weeks into each grading period regarding their child’s academic and behavioral performance. Progress reports shall be consistent at each grade level.

Report Cards

Parents shall receive a report card at the end of every six (6) week grading period. In order to receive the Report Cards for the first and fourth grading periods, parent must attend Parent/Teacher conferences. Report Cards shall include information regarding the student’s academic and behavioral performance. Report cards shall be signed by the parent and returned to the teacher in a timely manner.
