Legacy Traditional Schools announces the expansion of its early childhood education offerings by introducing new Pre-Kindergarten locations and Free Full-Day Kindergarten at additional Arizona campuses for the 2024-25 school year.
Expanding Pre-Kindergarten Offerings in Arizona
Legacy is proud to announce the opening of new Pre-Kindergarten (PK-4) programs at its Deer Valley, East Tucson, Gilbert, Laveen, Maricopa, and Phoenix campuses. These programs join existing preschool (PK-3) and pre-kindergarten programs at Chandler, North Chandler, San Tan, Queen Creek, and East Mesa locations, further expanding Legacy’s available early childhood offerings. The tuition-based programs are open to children who turn three or four by August 31, 2024.
Legacy’s preschool and pre-kindergarten programs are led by qualified teachers supported by the Frog Street curriculum, a dual-language program designed to meet the needs of each learner with developmental learning.
Legacy’s preschool and pre-kindergarten programs are aligned with the Arizona Department of Education’s Early Learning Standards to support developmental learning through discovery and age-appropriate activities in language arts, math, science, music, art, and physical education.
New Free Full-Day Kindergarten Offered At Select Arizona Campuses
Starting in the 2024-25 school year, Legacy Traditional Schools will offer free full-day kindergarten at its Deer Valley, Maricopa, Phoenix, Surprise, and West Surprise campuses. Families enrolled in the half-day program may transfer to the new full-day kindergarten program.
With this new offering, kindergarten students will have the opportunity to attend school for the entire day at no cost to families. Legacy’s proactive approach in providing a free full-day kindergarten option is in response to the growing demand from the community for accessible and high-quality education for young learners.
