Parents and Students,
It is with great excitement that I introduce myself as your new principal. I am beginning my 3rd year with Legacy Traditional Charter Schools and very proudly served as your Assistant Principal for the 2011-2012 school year. I have 12 years of educational experience and have a true passion for student success.
Our educational team here at Legacy-Casa Grande is filled with talented, caring teachers who bring years of experience and innovative ideas. We are committed to excellence in education with our accelerated, back-to-basics, safe learning environment. Our accelerated program includes the use of Spalding and Saxon Math, Character Counts Education and Positive Discipline.
As a student, you can make the most of your Legacy education by continuing to be a motivated student. Realize that every academic challenge is an opportunity to grow. Get involved in tutoring, after school clubs, student council or our music or sports programs. We are here to help you be successful.
As a parent, you can help your child be successful by being supportive of Legacy’s administration and teachers. Know that our policies are in place to not only insure quality education for your student but also a safe learning environment for all of our student body. Become involved by monitoring your student’s academic progress through the online grade book, progress reports and report cards. Be proactive in contacting a teacher should you have a question or concern. You can stay involved by volunteering on campus in the classroom, PTO and at sporting events.
A cooperative partnership needs to exist between parents, students and school personnel to ensure the success of each of our students. I am grateful for this wonderful opportunity to work with each one of you; I look forward to seeing you on campus and at our many events.
