This 2009-2010 Optimist Club International Essay Contest is for eligible students under the age of 19. The official topic for this year was “The Internet:  Today’s Evolution or Tomorrow’s Menace?”  We are very excited to announce that two of our sixth graders placed this year.  Zachary Hillman earned second place, and Holly Cluff earned third place.  They are both sixth graders in Mr. Mikesell’s class.  The first place winner was a senior at Casa Grande Union High School.
